At A Woman’s Concern, our mission is to provide an open door and inviting space to all women in need of resources related to pregnancy, parenting, and sexual health and to empower families with focused classes, dedicated support, and material assistance to uphold the value of every human life.
A Woman’s Concern currently offers the following services:

• Pregnancy tests
• Ultrasound scans
• STI/STD testing
• Material assistance
• Pregnancy options information
• Sexual risk avoidance education
• Fatherhood education and mentoring
• Prenatal and parenting classes
• Community referrals
• After abortion support

We serve anyone in Lancaster County (and beyond) who is seeking education, practical assistance, and support, all provided at no cost, in a confidential and judgment-free environment. We’re also known for carrying out our work with deep compassion and care, bringing hope and support to those in our community. Each of our staff members acts as the hands and feet of Jesus in every interaction and conversation they have with those who walk through our doors.
In 2022, A Woman’s Concern celebrated 50 years of serving our community. Founded in 1972 as Birthright of Lancaster, our organization began with a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting women facing unexpected pregnancies. Over the years, our name, location, and scope of services have evolved, expanding our ability to serve our clients. In 2018, we moved into our current space, which features a dedicated medical suite, a baby boutique, a classroom for workshops, and more!

Here’s how your gift might help:

• $25 helps provide necessities like diapers, wipes and baby clothes
• $50 contributes to the cost of pizza for our men’s nights, supporting new and expectant dads
• $150 covers the cost of an ultrasound from our credentialed medical staff
• $300 supplies a new mom with a car seat and stroller travel system
• $500 sustains our ongoing parenting education programs
• $1,050 supports the full range of services for one client, from their first visit through baby’s 1st birthday
