Mix At Arbor Place

Founded in 1984 by Pastors Marvin & Lois Weaver of Laurel Street Mennonite Church, Arbor Place is a faith-based youth development organization dedicated to empowering children and teens in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, through mentorship, education, and enrichment programs. Rooted in the belief of Jesus Christ that every young person deserves opportunities to grow, succeed, and contribute to their community, The Mix provides safe spaces for learning, personal development, and social connection.

Over the years, The Mix at Arbor Place has not only rebranded itself but has expanded its programs to address academic support, leadership development, creative arts, and life skills, including financial literacy, STEM, and college/career readiness. With a strong commitment to holistic youth development, the organization partners with schools, families, and local community leaders to create pathways for success, fostering resilience, confidence, and long-term well-being for every participant.

Today, The Mix at Arbor Place continues to be a cornerstone of Lancaster’s youth community, shaping the lives of hundreds of young people annually while promoting a culture of empowerment, responsibility, and community engagement.

Here’s how your gift might help:

• $25 – Snack Supporter, provides healthy snacks for one child for a full week.
• $50 – Meal Champion, helps provide daily meals for one child for one week.
• $100 – Activity Sponsor, covers supplies for STEM, arts, and enrichment activities for multiple students.
• $250 – Field Trip Partner, supports transportation and admission for youth to experience educational field trips.
• $500 – Youth Sponsor, sponsors one child’s full participation in the summer program, including meals, supplies, and activities.
• $1,000 – Program Builder, supports program staffing and helps ensure a safe, structured environment for youth.
• $2,500+ – Community Champion, provides critical support for overall program operations, allowing us to expand services and reach more families in need.
