Cause Profile:

The Potter’s House is an addiction recovery and discipleship ministry founded in the late 90’s, It was originally a transition to community ministry taking men out of prison, discipling and helping them to become productive citizens. In 2016 the focus was changed to addiction recovery and discipleship due to the high percentage of inmates that were in prison on substance abuse related charges. The program expanded to include women (The Potter’s House of Ruth) in 2020. Students are discipled into heart change that increases the probability of life change. They also are led through trauma healing to expose and release the hold of past traumas that have led to the dysfunctional behavior. The program has a three month intensive phase and then six months of supported community interaction. We also are providing a third phase that provides support and low income housing to help maintain the growth and success they obtained through the program.
