Cause Profile:

The Oaks Ministry was founded in 2015 by Robin Martin and opened its doors to residents in 2016. By 2023, we had acquired 3 houses that are rented at a very low cost. In 2025 we hired a Strategic Director to expand our Program and Housing capacity. In 2026 that individual became the Executive Director, as the Founder stepped down from the position. The Oaks Ministry is a Christ-centered residential program for women seeking healing, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose. Our mission is to partner with women in their journey toward healing by offering Christian-based, holistic, trauma-informed care in transitional housing, with the goal of fostering resilience and empowering each woman to reclaim her life and pursue her God-given potential.
At the heart of The Oaks Ministry is a clear conviction: lasting change begins with spiritual transformation. While many programs begin with external goals such as employment, housing, or finances, The Oaks Ministry begins by restoring the inner foundation. We believe that when a woman begins to understand her identity in Christ, her worth, and the truth of who God says she is, she is better equipped to make healthy decisions, receive support, build new habits, and move toward long-term stability. This Christ-centered foundation is what enables growth in every other area of life. The Oaks program is structured in three progressive phases:

  • Phase I: Stabilization & Safety
  • Phase II: Responsibility & Growth
  • Phase III: Transition & Independence

Progression is based on readiness and demonstrated growth rather than on a fixed timeline. This reflects the ministry’s updated phase model and advancement approach, which emphasize safety, emotional regulation, responsibility, and sustainable independence over merely “completing time.”

We are members of The Oxford Chamber of Commerce and the SCCCC.
