New Hope Counseling Center

New Hope Counseling Center has been serving southern Lancaster County and surrounding communities since 1997, with a mission centered on bringing hope and healing to individuals and families through professional counseling rooted in faith.

We believe every person is created in the image of God and worthy of compassion, dignity, and hope. Our desire is to walk alongside people during some of life’s most difficult seasons while helping remove financial barriers that can prevent individuals and families from receiving the care they need.

Hope and Healing Through Professional Counseling

At New Hope Counseling Center, children, teens, adults, couples, and families have access to professional counseling in a welcoming and compassionate environment. Our counselors work with people navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, and other emotional and mental health concerns.

Because New Hope does not want finances to be the reason someone goes without counseling, our Hope Chest Fund provides financial assistance to clients who cannot afford the full cost of care.

In 2025 alone, New Hope provided more than $90,000 in counseling assistance, helping make more than 1,400 counseling sessions available at little or no cost to those receiving care. This includes our school-based counseling partnership with Solanco High School, where students can receive professional counseling during the school day at no cost to students, their families, or the school district.

More than 80% of the clients we serve receive some level of financial assistance.

Gifts received through Faithful Give help strengthen New Hope’s Hope Chest Fund, allowing us to continue providing professional counseling to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.

• $25 helps bridge the financial gap for someone who cannot afford the full cost of counseling.
• $50 can help cover a significant portion of a counseling session for a neighbor experiencing financial hardship.
• $100 can help make a full professional counseling session possible for someone with significant financial need.
• $300 can help provide several counseling sessions as someone begins working toward healing, stability, and hope.
• $500 can help sustain ongoing counseling for an individual or family who otherwise may not be able to afford continued care.
• $1,000 can help provide access to approximately ten professional counseling sessions for people in our community who need financial assistance.
