Green Meadow Farm

Green Meadow Farm is a biblically based, equine-assisted mentorship program serving as a bridge of hope for children and teens struggling with trauma and emotional difficulties, with a special heart for adoptees. It is our mission to connect children and families with horses and farm life to bring refreshment, renewal, and rest. Green Meadow Farm opened to families in the spring of 2012 and has served hundreds of families since. Students ages 6-18 are enrolled in a session that thoughtfully each child with a mentor for 10 weeks of 90-minute lessons. We use horses and farm life to teach emotional awareness, healthy relational skills, and responsibility while making special memories together. To best serve the needs of each child, we offer a flexible lesson approach that includes teaching basic horsemanship and riding.
