Breath of Life Healing Center

Breath of Life Healing Center, formerly Breath of Life Ministries International, Inc. (BOLM), is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry serving Lancaster County. Our ministry focuses on emotional, relational, and spiritual healing through a biblical foundation. Through faith-based counseling, life coaching, workshops, support groups, educational resources, and community outreach, we walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, deepen their faith, and pursue healing and growth.

BOLM was founded by Rob and Ann Stoppard in the fall of 1998 with a vision to help people experience healing through biblical truth, prayer, and compassionate support. In July 2005, leadership transitioned to Sue and Frank Ferrari, who continued the ministry’s work and expansion. In January 2013, BOLM received recognition as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Years later, while Willie Carr was serving as a counselor at BOLM, Sue personally asked him to carry the ministry forward when the time came. That vision for the future took on unexpected significance following Sue’s passing in 2023. In August of that year, Willie stepped into the role of Executive Director, marking a pivotal transition in BOLM’s history and the beginning of its third generation of leadership. Entrusted with the ministry’s legacy, Willie began the work of honoring the foundation built before him while discerning how BOLM could continue to grow and serve the community in a new season.

Over the next three years, that season of discernment led to a renewed vision for the organization and how it could meet the evolving needs of the community. In the summer of 2026, BOLM became Breath of Life Healing Center, reflecting an expanded approach to its mission while preserving the biblical foundation that has guided the ministry since its beginning. Today, Breath of Life Healing Center is building upon more than 25 years of service while creating new opportunities to broaden its reach and impact.

While Breath of Life Healing Center has evolved, its heart remains the same: to meet people where they are and walk alongside them with compassion and grace toward healing, hope, and transformation through Jesus Christ.

Here’s how your gift can help:

• $25 – Helps offset the cost of a counseling or coaching session for someone experiencing financial hardship
• $75 – Helps reduce the cost of a counseling or coaching session by 50% for someone unable to afford the full rate
• $150 – Provides one individual counseling or coaching session at no cost to someone experiencing financial hardship
• $200 – Sponsors a free community workshop (up to 90 minutes), including facilitation, materials, and refreshments
• $900 – Provides six individual counseling or coaching sessions—approximately two months of consistent weekly support
• $1,800 – Provides approximately three months of weekly individual counseling or coaching for someone unable to afford services
• $2,000 – Helps furnish a counseling room (1 of 4) or supports approximately one month of the Breath of Life Healing Center’s operating expenses (i.e. rent and utilities)
• $5,000 – Funds the planned podcast/community media renovation, expanding our ability to create free faith-based educational content and resources
