Anchor Lancaster serves neighbors facing homelessness and hardship with the compassion of Christ by providing weekday hot breakfasts, along with access to showers, laundry, and case management support in Lancaster City.

Originally founded as Anchorage Breakfast, the ministry moved from St. James Church in 2016 to a rented space at First United Methodist Church on the corner of Duke and Walnut Streets. After becoming a 501(c)3 in 2017, the organization was renamed Anchor Lancaster in 2020. What began as a simple breakfast program has grown into a holistic ministry offering practical resources and relational support to those in need in the name of Christ.
