Anchored Ministries

Anchored Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 with a vision to serve as God’s hands and feet by meeting tangible needs and sharing Christ’s love. The organization began with a single clothing collection and distribution event in Reading, Pennsylvania, which revealed a significant unmet need in the community. This early effort inspired the ministry to grow beyond its initial outreach and expand its programs to serve individuals and families facing hardship. Today, Anchored Ministries operates programs focused on clothing, food, and community support. Core services include the Mobile Clothing Closet, which brings high-quality clothing and accessories to local events, and a series of community programs such as the Christmas Gift Program, Back-to-School Event, and Prom Boutique. The Roadside Food Stand provides access to food and essential items for families across the region. With two Mobile Clothing Closets traveling throughout Lancaster, Chester, and Berks counties, the organization continues to meet essential needs with dignity and hope. Anchored Ministries is headquartered near Livingood Park in Elverson, Pennsylvania, and works alongside a network of local businesses, organizations, volunteers, donors, and sponsors who make its work possible. These partnerships strengthen the ministry’s ability to provide essential resources, build meaningful relationships, and share God’s love throughout the community.
