Water Street Mission

In response to Christ’s love, we join His mission to walk with our neighbors experiencing marginalization and poverty, trusting Him to transform lives and restore hope.

Our trauma-informed services are designed to invite those experiencing homelessness and poverty into deeper engagement, helping them develop a feeling of safety and love that will guide them into further internal work and life-change.

Shelter guests find:
An environment of hope and healing for men, women and children experiencing homelessness
Nutritious food and an encouraging community in our dining hall
Connections to counseling or other community-based supportive services
Access to our computer lab and community resources to move forward with housing and a sustainable lifestyle

In our Residential Programs, our guests receive individualized counseling and coaching, along with a unique action plan and course load, all designed to help them reimagine and redefine their future. This includes access to:

Personalized action plan and counseling to help guests discover areas of growth
Step Up vocational and career training
Chapel and small group discussions
Individualized course load for personal, academic and life growth
Residential living for deeper community building

Water Street also has a host of ministries that go upstream of homelessness such as our Food Pantry (called the 12 and 1 Center), Water Street Health Services, Wonder Academy, Teen Haven, and Compass.  More about each one of these programs can be found on our website.

• $175 Provides An Entire Week of Meals, Shelter, and Care For Someone Experiencing Homelessness
• $750 Provides Meals, Shelter, and Care for One Month for Someone Experiencing Homelessness
