Cornerstone Youth Center

A Place to Belong. A Place to Grow. A Place to Encounter Jesus.

What began with a burden for young people has grown into a place where students are known, loved, and reminded that their lives have purpose. In the spring of 1998, a group of 17 Elizabethtown-area pastors and business leaders saw a growing need in their community. Young people needed a safe place to go, caring adults who would show up for them, and relationships that could point them toward hope. That vision became Cornerstone.

By September of that year, the Cornerstone Café opened in the heart of Elizabethtown as a Friday-night coffeehouse. As the ministry grew, so did the need. In 2007, Cornerstone moved to its current home at 95 S. Wilson Ave. and began growing into the full-service Youth Center it is today.

Today, Cornerstone welcomes students in grades 6-12 into a safe and fun environment where they can belong, build healthy relationships, discover their God-given gifts, and encounter the love of Christ.

Whether a student walks through our doors to grab a snack, play basketball, climb the rock wall, create something in our art or music spaces, meet with a mentor, or simply find someone willing to listen, our desire is the same: to meet
them where they are and walk alongside them.

Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment where youth can build healthy relationships, be introduced to the Gospel, and experience wholeness in life through Christ. In partnership with families, churches, and our community, we seek to care for the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the next generation.

At Cornerstone, programs are important – but relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Every activity creates another opportunity for a caring adult to know a student’s name, hear their story, encourage their gifts, and show them the love of Jesus.

When you give through Faithful Give, you aren’t simply funding a program – you are investing in young people and helping create a place where they can feel seen, known, loved, and encouraged to become who God created them to be.

• Where Are We Wednesday Summer Program: $600 provides one week /
  $20 sponsors one student
• Café Ministry: $266 provides a month of coffee and connection
• Family Events: $250 helps provide one event for students and their
  families.
• Creative Arts: $150 provides one month/ $10 gives one student an
  opportunity to create
• Volleyball Team: $325 supports the team/ $25 sponsors one student
• Youth Retreat: $200 gives one student the opportunity to attend

Every gift helps open the door for another conversation, another relationship, and another opportunity for a young person to experience the hope and love of Christ.
