This verse calls us to care for vulnerable, hurting children. At SWAN, we believe that means meeting practical needs while sharing the eternal hope of Christ.

Through our Rising Stars Program, children experience God’s love not only through what they are taught, but through the faithful presence of teachers, mentors, counselors, and volunteers who walk alongside them.

Every child deserves to know they are seen, valued, loved, and not forgotten.

Did you know that approximately 3,000 children in Lancaster County have a parent who is incarcerated?

SWAN currently serves 75 students, but with additional support, we have the potential to reach more than 200.

Children affected by parental incarceration often face separation, instability, poverty, housing insecurity, emotional distress, and challenges at school. They did not choose these circumstances, but they can carry the weight of them for years.

SWAN comes alongside these children with consistent relationships, practical support, and the hope of Christ. A safe place and trusted adults who show up week after week can become an important anchor.

It costs approximately $75,000 to provide Rising Stars throughout the school year. Through Faithful Give, we are seeking to raise $50,000 toward that need.
