Manheim Township Bible2School is a release time program where the students in Manheim Township public schools are released from their school day to receive a Bible lesson and have worship time. The program takes place over their lunch and recess and the students walk or are bussed to a partner host location. Our first class was in 2014 for Schaeffer 2nd graders. In 2017 Westminster Church hosted a class for Nitrauer 2nd graders. Pastor Tucker York of Westminster Church had a vision to have a Manheim Township Bible2School where all of the elementary schools would have a thriving program. As more schools came on board, that became a reality. On April 16, 2022 we became our own 501c3. Today, we have 20 classes over 7 schools and any student in 2nd-6th grade is able to attend a Bible2School class if they would like to, with their parent’s permission.
