We’re a Christian retirement community in Lititz, PA (in Lancaster County, PA) offering residential independent senior living (cottages and apartments), personal care services, and healthcare center for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.
In the early 1900s, Barbara and Henry Firestone opened their home to neighbors who needed assistance and began caring for them. As members of the United Zion Church and owners of a bakery that served the local area, Barbara and Henry’s generosity flowed from their Christian faith and their commitment to the community. Along with the church, they formally incorporated the effort as the United Zion Home for the Homeless in 1905.
Based on Christian principals, we provide a community where residents thrive by focusing on independence, dignity, and physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Our vision is to be an affordable, vibrant, innovative retirement community that enables each individual to flourish.

We make the promise to our residents that we will never ask them to leave even when they are no longer to fully cover their cost of care.
