TNT Youth Ministry

In August of 2000, Ephrata Mennonite Church, now known as Alive Church Ephrata, began a parking lot outreach ministry for community youth. The outreach met every Thursday night, drawing well over 100 young people. This outreach soon became known as TNT or “Thursday Night Thing”. Over the years, TNT grew from being known as a Thursday night outreach into a much broader vision. No longer is TNT Youth Ministry a church program but an independent, non-profit organization that has developed multiple youth center locations and serves public school campuses. TNT exists to transform student’s lives through the power of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, we focus on earning the right to be heard by building relationships and showing that we deeply care about student’s lives and hearts.

We serve public school campuses by:

• Mentoring students
• Chaperoning
• Offering emotional support during a crisis
• Being a caring adult role model
• Facilitating before-school Bible studies

We serve youth in our communities by:

• Providing a safe place for young people
• Engaging students through activities
• Building trusting, caring relationships
• Leading small group Bible studies

Here’s how your gift might help us provide food, program materials, Bible study supplies, and game supplies; and help students attend various activities throughout the year.

• $1,000/month provides ministry to 40 students
• $500/month provides ministry to 20 students
• $200/month provides ministry to 8 students
• $100/month provides ministry to 4 students
• $50/month provides ministry to 2 students
• $25/month provides ministry to 1 student
