The Way Recovery Houses

The Way Recovery Houses is a Non-Profit in Lancaster and York counties that provides halfway housing for those recovering from addiction. We take a unique approach by intentionally partnering with the local church in order to provide each resident with a support system: spiritual advisors, discipleship, resources, but most of all an inclusive, life-giving environment for our residents to integrate into.

The non-profit was originally founded in 2012 but started rather slowly. We have expanded over the last few years and currently have (7) properties across York, Washington Boro, Mountville, and Lancaster City with just over 50 current residents. We have two staff members managing our men’s and women’s houses as well as a part-time director. There have been many challenges over the years, but we have been blessed and are continuing to look for ways to expand.
