Hope Within Ministries

Hope Within was co-founded in 2002 by Brian & Donita Sturgis with the dream of providing primary health care to the uninsured low-income residents of Lancaster, Dauphin, and Lebanon Counties. Hope Within opened officially in 2006.

Our Mission is to share God’s love with people in need through the provision of health care services, dental care, sound counsel and related education.

Our Vision is to be a local community in which:

physical, spiritual and emotional needs are met;
real hope is prevalent;
love for one another abounds; and
healthy, wholesome lifestyles are the norm.

Hope Within is a gold standards member of The national Association of Free Clinics, the Free Clinic of Association of Pennsylvania, and a member by invitation of the Hershey Ministerium.

Example of how your gift can be used:

• A $25 donation covers the cost of cholesterol-lowering medication for one month for one patient.
• A $50 donation provides one set of x-rays for one dental patient.
• A $150 donation covers a dental exam and cleaning for one patient.
• A $200 donation provides a medical exam for a patient with an acute condition (and often the medication to treat it).
