Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. CEF of Lancaster County is a local chapter of CEF founded in 1944 by a group of community Christian businessmen. CEF’s ministry includes after-school Good News Club programs held in the public schools during the schoolyear for students in Kindergarten through 6th grades, Jesus You Connection Clubs (JYC) for middle-school students, and summertime VBS and 5-Day Club programs. We provide training to all of our volunteers and offer a lending-library of curriculum as well as teacher training for our Church Partners. We are a parachurch organization that supports the children’s ministry outreach programs of local churches by using our materials and proven methodology. Founded in 1937, CEF is now the largest children’s ministry in the world serving in nearly every country.
