Milandila Community Missions

Our Beginning

James and Morgan Tumwesiigye met in Uganda in 2013 while working at a medical camp. After marrying in 2015, they felt called to serve the village of Lusanja, Luwero district, using a pregnancy clinic as a platform to share the Gospel. In 2021, they founded Milandila Community Missions, named after the Bantu word for “root” or “foundation.” Their mission is to help women from challenging backgrounds choose life for their unborn children while offering the hope of eternal life through Christ.

Our Goal: Health, Evangelism, and Discipleship

Each month, over 100 teenage, single, and Muslim women facing illiteracy, poverty, sex trafficking, AIDS, abuse, and unemployment receive:

• Pregnancy & Postpartum Support
• Health Education & Counseling
• Medical Exams & Baby Wellness Care
• Sonography & Lab Services
• Mama Kits (Delivery Resources)
• Home Visits & Social Work
• Spiritual Care & Discipleship

• $100 – Provide Clinical Support – Supports Milandila’s dedicated healthcare team. Help bring healing and hope in Jesus’ Name.
• $200 – Provide for a Mama! – Covers everything from pregnancy to postpartum: transportation to classes, prenatal care, lab work & ultrasound, baby supplies & clothes, delivery costs, and 6 months of postpartum care with monthly packages.
• $6000 – Provide for the Family Center! – Covers all expenses for one month of ministry and motherhood, life and learning!
• $72,000 – Fund God’s Work for a Year! – Covers medical care, prenatal and postpartum support, education, transportation, resources, ministry expenses, and more, sustaining God’s work through the Family Center’s impact for an entire year.
