Cause Profile:

Kraybill Mennonite School, in cooperation with local Christian families and churches, offers a Christ-centered education with an Anabaptist theological orientation. The program values the total person and seeks to prepare students of diverse educational needs for a life of service to Christ. We use Christ’s teachings to prepare children to do God’s work in the world by nurturing faith, peacemaking, leadership, and service.​ Our core values are: Christ-Centered, Anabaptist Perspective, Educational Excellence, Community Building, Peacemaking, Service.

September 6, 1949, Kraybill Mennonite School opened its doors in what is now known as the Meetinghouse. It was part of Lancaster Mennonite School. In 1971, Kraybill Mennonite School separated from Lancaster Mennonite School and was governed by its own board. In 2006, Kraybill Mennonite School merged with Lancaster Mennonite School. November 9 2018, Lancaster Mennonite and Kraybill Mennonite School signed an agreement for Kraybill to become a separate independent school on July 1, 2019, as it existed from 1971 to 2006. In December 2019, the final deed transfer back to Kraybill Mennonite School was recorded in Lancaster County.
