Friendship Community

Cause Profile:

Faithful Love. Faithful Give. Faithfully Serving at Friendship Community

Friendship Community is a Christian ministry cultivating capabilities and celebrating the best in individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism (ID/A). Since 1972, we have walked alongside adults with ID/A through residential homes, day programs, community-based support, and the Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio. Rooted in Christ’s love, our mission is to help each person live with dignity, purpose, and joy in a safe, faith-centered environment.
We believe every individual is created in God’s image and called to a life filled with belonging. Through personalized support and opportunities for growth, we nurture independence, creativity, and spiritual life. Today, Friendship Community supports more than 150 individuals in Lancaster and Lebanon counties through 24 residential homes, day programs, and community inclusion. Your gift during Faithful Give helps Friendship Community continue providing Christ-centered care, stability, and hope. Every contribution strengthens the foundation for those we serve—ensuring safe housing, meaningful work, creative outlets, and spiritual nurture remain accessible.
