Love INC Lancaster

Cause Profile:

Love INC of Lancaster County incorporated as a 501(c)3 organization in 1992. Our “CONNECTION CENTRAL” office has three ministry streams: our Call Center, a new pilot of Transformational Ministry Workshops, and tow larger scale Mobilization Campaigns. Daily, our call center receives request calls from neighbors needing help. Financial Insecurity needs are vetted and, when appropriate, FINANCIAL HOPE can come from church benevolences. Senior Isolation needs very often become SENIOR CONNECTION with church people helping with rides to doctors’ appointments or grocery shopping. Needs associated with Crisis Situations, largely with seniors who live independently in their homes, become CRISIS SOLUTIONS. Through short-term mobilization campaigns, teams of church members do summer home repairs through THE PROJECT in eight to ten school districts, bringing SAFE HOMES when resources (often retired seniors on fixed incomes living independently) for maintenance and repair do not exist. THE MEAL brings “the person in the pew” in connection with a young family who cannot purchase supplies for a Thanksgiving dinner. Our newest pilot for Transformational Ministry is offering Chalmers Center Faith and Finances this fall. At Connection Central, we celebrate the ongoing work of God through our churches as we see Revitalized Lives Stepping Toward A Better Future.
