Cause Profile:

Seeing the need for organized, higher quality music opportunities, Cadence was formed to serve families who might not otherwise have the chance to participate in a organized music program. We provide clean, family friendly, music lessons, classes, and choirs for homeschool and cyber school students in Lancaster, Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, Dauphin, Lebanon, York, Adams, Cumberland, & Berks Counties.

Cadence was founded in July 2023, although the original idea was formed in 2019. Founders Michael and Brittney Welch were living in Kentucky at the time. They formed a program for homeschoolers in their area, which was highly successful until the COVID crisis. After relocating to Brittney’s hometown (Jonestown), they felt led to make another attempt with the program, offering piano, voice, guitar, and youth choirs. This year, Cadence has witnessed tremendous growth. We strive to provide high level instruction by hiring additional professional instructors, while maintaining affordability for students of every demographic.
